I am realizing as I work on my #100dayproject that I constantly reach for dusty blues, forest greens, and neutrals. (This is not surprising as those colors make up most of my wardrobe as well). So I tried to branch out a little bit and try some brighter shades on a few paintings this time.
I’m surprisingly into the neon pink!
Whenever I go out to work on the garden right now, this chubby little bird keeps me company.

I started playing with some of the brighter watercolors in my set with this one. I’m still not sold on the greens.
After knitting my sweater, I started reading about color dominance, or how holding different strands of yarn affects how the pattern shows up. Apparently I was still thinking about it when I sat down to paint that day.

Documenting my tomato starts getting their second sets of leaves!
Thinking about hobbit houses led to thinking about sod houses and going down a bit of a rabbit hole on them.
