Seattle Children’s Museum
I had the pleasure of doing some graphic design work for the newly-reopened Seattle Children’s Museum this spring and got to go to the preview last week. I feel so lucky that I got to work with the museum team and that I got a chance to see these exhibits in place. In terms of exhibit design work, I very rarely get the combination of a relatively quick project and a relatively local project that means I can go see the exhibits in person so soon after working on them!
The graphics were updated to work with the existing exhibit: a tactile and interactive mountain for children to climb up and around, full of modeled animals and touchable plants! Although it’s always fun to start design work from scratch, I absolutely love working with existing interactive elements and exhibit features. There’s something so interesting about incorporating and modernizing older features that makes for a really fun project for me!
